By Kent Stonecipher, Oklahoma City Firearms Examiner (courtesy of the CMP newsletter)- Choosing a rifle to shoot in the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s Vintage Sniper Rifle Match has been more of a problem than I anticipated.  I fully expected to use a replica 1903A4 that I had put together a few years ago but issues with the original Weaver scope once I started to shoot it past a couple of hundred yards ruled that out.  In fact the requirement to fire the rifles from 300 and especially 600 yards has severely limited my choices.
