Clan Yoshimoto was just one of the families taking part in the Ruger Rimfire Match this weekend.

Last weekend, Ruger’s Rimfire Match in Piru, Calif. drew more than 130 shooters. The match featured 8 stages (4 rifle, 4 pistol) with a format that is designed to attract families and casual shooters, as well as serious competitors, to the shooting sports. And, as the name implies, competition is done with .22LR firearms. The next events on the Ruger schedule are the Texas State and Michigan State Ruger Rimfire Matches which will both take place May 21. (The Shooting Wire)
